ASETS CEO to Speak at Automa 2026 in Amsterdam

ASETS CEO, Ashwini Oke will speakat the Oil & Gas Automation and Digitalisation Congress 2026, taking placeon 5 and 6 October 2026 in Amsterdam. The conference is presented under thetheme “RIDE THE DIGITAL WAVE.”

Ashwini’s participation comes asasset owners continue to work with information generated across realitycapture, 3D models, BIM, engineering documents and operational data. Much ofthis information can remain fragmented, difficult to interpret and costly to keepcurrent. The session will examine how digital twins can move beyondrepresenting an asset toward providing a more connected understanding of it.

Ashwini will present “TheIntelligence Layer: From Digital Twin to Digital Intelligence.” The sessionintroduces the distinction between a digital twin that shows an asset and anintelligence layer that helps explain what the asset means. It will address howan intelligence layer can continuously connect the physical asset with itsengineering data, detect changes, identify inconsistencies, understandrelationships and turn large volumes of data into engineering insight.

The presentation will alsoconsider practical questions that asset owners may want their digital twin toanswer, including: “What has changed?” “Is my model still accurate?” “Whichequipment is affected?” and “What engineering documents are inconsistent?”These questions point toward a model of asset management in which digitalinformation is continually examined against the physical asset.

The session will frame thisprogression as a shift from Digital Twin to Intelligent Asset. For assetowners, the focus is on reducing manual verification, supporting fasterengineering decisions, reducing risk, improving asset visibility andmaintaining an evolving understanding of the physical asset.

The event takes place on 5 and 6October 2026 in Amsterdam. ASETS will be represented by Ashwini as thediscussion turns toward the role of intelligence in the next generation ofdigital asset workflows.
